SKILL LEVEL Adults (16+) Beginner – This is a good start for people new to sewing or with basic sewing knowledge
WHAT WILL I LEARN? – Comfortably use a domestic sewing machine – Understand the basics of woven fabrics and pattern laying – Sew basic construction seams, zippers and pockets – Confidently be able to construct basic garments – Sew 2 final garments
WHAT IS SUPPLIED? All equipment and supplies are provided. If you wish to bring your own domestic machine to learn from you can.
WHAT DO I BRING? Scrap fabric Fabric – make your own skirt Fabric – make your own top Thread to match your chosen skirt and top fabric colours Invisible zip x 2 (need to match your chosen skirt and top fabric colours)

WHAT IS SUPPLIED? All equipment and supplies are provided. If you wish to bring your own domestic machine to learn from you can.
WHAT DO I BRING? The only aspect you will need to bring is your chosen fabric. This could be old clothes you wish to upcycle (if there is enough fabric for the pattern) or bought fabric. This pattern will require 1m of fabric (140-150cm width of fabric roll) The vest is a CA10 size. I recommend either lightweight twill or linen fabric. The choice is up to you!
